To setup your email account onto your Android device, please follow these instructions. Please note that we do not provide support for Android email setup, but this guide should help get you started.
Step 1
On your home screen select the application draw button to show all of your applications.
Step 2
Open the “mail” application.
Step 3
If this is the first time you have setup an email account, you will be presented with an email setup screen. Select the “Other(POP3/IMAP)” option. If you have done email setup previously, select the Menu button, choose Accounts, select the Menu button, and press Add account.
Step 4
Enter your email address in the first box. In the second box, enter your email password provided to you by Daisy Bank Design.
Step 5
Select Manual setup
Please check all of the populated settings. The correct settings are shown below. If any are missing or different, please correct them.
Protocol: IMAP or POP3 (IMAP is preferred for mobile devices)
Email address: Your full email address
Username: Your full email address
Password: Your password provided to you by Daisy Bank Design
IMAP/POP3 server: mail.yourdomain. e.g. mail.yoursite.co.uk
Security Type: None or SSL
Leave the port unchanged or at 143
Select next.
Step 6
Please check all of the populated settings for the outgoing mailserver options. The correct settings are shown below. If any are missing or different, please correct them.
Login Required: Yes
Username: Your full email address
Password: Your password provided to you by Daisy Bank Design
SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain. e.g. mail.yoursite.co.uk
Security type: None or SSL.
Leave the port unchanged or at port 25
All you need to do then is enter your account name as you wish it to appear on your Android device.
Select “Finish Setup” and that should be it.
To test everything is working – try sending an email to and from your new email account.
